   “Motion to recognize shame rejected as anathema to this Parliament, except when it is to acknowledge historical injustices!”

   (The one thing Harper’s really good at: apologizing for egregious gov’t in/actions he had nothing to do with.)

   Amazing. What they call a “Human Rights-centred approach” to dealing with ACTUAL riots in Northern Ireland. This is how a mature, well trained police force acts.

   In comparison, how come the Toronto Police response to peaceful protest is criminal assault and infringement of the Charter?
