I concur, Sunshine. Weird. I actually said those lyrics, pretty much word for word, once. Kaiser Chiefs ripped off my life! Then again, I’m sure everyone has said a version of those lyrics, at one time or another. The Kaiser Chiefs ripped off all of our lives! (that’s called artistic genius) Early Beatlesque. Still weirded out that the lyrics are almost word for word, especially chorus, from something I once said, that we all said.

Fun little band. “I Predict a Riot” was one of my favourite songs that summer. My middle daughter’s all-time favourite song is “Ruby” from their second album. Given that he musical tastes typically range from the Wiggles to Hannah Montana, I’m not sure what that says about the song!
