—Guess who
I don’t want to make this personal, so I will not – not! – call him a rude, pompous, soulless rageaholic who is, was, and always will be a tourist in the Liberal Party of Canada.
I won’t do that. I just won’t.
Thank you.
He was a tourist when he was in the NDP as well. Never seen him to be a “rage-aholic” though. Just aloof and unsociable (at least when off stage).
You always say so much while at the same time, just shy of saying enough……or too much. Masterful, lol.
Just you watch – he’s going to get *everybody* going, and THEN say “What? I was talking about David Orchard!”
(I’m just joking, in case anybody’s feeling sensitive/litigious tonight…)
I doubt that he is referring to Scott Brison or Ujjal Dosanyh either.
Liberal feuds can be entertaining, but there is always risk to the Party when it happens.
You can always “mouth” it, i.e. move your lips 🙂
“soulless” is a very intense way to describe someone, although it could mean an atheist.
“Liberal Party of Canada” could mean that it is someone who is a member of the Ontario Liberals or the B.C. Liberals who might be considering a jump into Federal politics.
WK, are we on track?
Please don’t let it be Gordon Campbell joining any of the Federal parties.
That makes for two Liberals that are just visiting.
I realize my asking this question gets annoying–especially when you just want to vent–but: how do we fix it?
I live in Toronto-Centre. I’ve thought about making a run, but I figure it would have to be from outside–as in, not for the Liberals, and I just can’t see running as a Conservative or an NDP. But I can’t see the Liberal riding association picking anyone else until he’s done or he loses an election. Which means we’re going to have MP Bob Rae until *he’s* ready to quit. 🙁
(It bothers me a lot, honestly, because I think Parliament and the Liberals need some fresh, young blood.)
Et tu, Brute?
Mais Monsieur toujours sert le venin avec les pastilles de chocolat, non?
Clearly he’s talking about Michael Bryant, not Bob Rae. Ooops should I have used my “inside” voice. Kinsella’s never one to shy away from controversy. That’s one of the things that keeps me coming back. Why do it now?
“rude, pompous, soulless rageaholic” – problem is this accurately describes a large number of prominent Liberals.
Not me, surely. I’m not prominent.
Well, if you think he’s a tourist now, and I think he was a tourist before, maybe that says something.
Why don’t Liberals draft someone who’s name isn’t poisonous in Ontario, who has political smarts, AND who holds some centre-left principles. Is it really that difficult?
