Responding to one of Peter Kent’s moronic inanities shouted
across the floor,Ken Dryden replied,”You should go back to reading
a teleprompters”.That got my vote for parliamentarian of the year.
In addition,to listen to Peter for longer than a soundbite is to be
bored, almost to the point of stupefaction.

While the CBC pulls old footage of Peter Kent reporting on global warming literally daring the new minister to procalim policy that might go against what he may have read off a teleprompter 25 years ago. Hypocrite!

  3. Namesake says:

Um, Pedro is no Liberal.* (see, e.g.,

And it’s unclear, but I’d wager that he wasn’t saying that KENT is the hypocrite, so much as observing out that the CBC’s P&P evil genius Ryan might’ve been setting him up to be portrayed as one, and/or maybe his comment was really directed at Dryden.

At any rate, what you keep forgetting, GT, is that the critics of the CPC gov’t on this & other fora are not confined to the Liberals, and their goals are not confined to trying to get people to vote for the LPC:

for many, it’d be enough to persuade people NOT to vote for the CPC (or indeed, at all) by pointing out their many hypocricies and betrayals.

“And clearly AGW is very much in doubt as a theory today. ”
    Only by idiots.
