I have no information at all that Mr. Kinsella is anything but a good father and my publication of facts to the contrary was mean-spirited and unacceptable.

Very sadly, we live in an increasingly disclaimer-ridden world of legalese these days.
Oh, spare me. She attacked my suitability as a father. No one gets away with that, ever.
Legally-manadated wording is the cost of “free expression” these days.
Funny how she can get away with posting that and then burying it quickly with dozens of inane postings.
Not that funny. The conservative “ethic” is that whatever you can get away with is just fine. viz. Koch bros, Wild Rose dirty tricks in Alberta, voter suppression in last federal election, NRA.
The “dirtiest” trick in Alberta is the left-wing farce that puts up a facade of being (provincial) Conservatives. With the Wild Rose Alliance, you well know what you see is what you get.
So, missed out on that Social Studies class in Grade 9, did you? Spend too much time on the john reading Ayn Rand?
Maybe Samantha learned & remembers the Trudeau policies like the NEP (National Energy Policy) all too well?
That socialist trainwreck still impacts voting in thewestern part of Canada to this very day.
As I say to everyone who invokes the NEP as some sort of Albertan version of Godwin’s Law: turn the freaking page.
No no. Most people with that attitude haven’t actually *read* Rand. They’ve simply spoken to someone who either misread or did a superficial reading of Rand … or worse, who see her writings as some sort of documentary.
The WRA would have far less suport if Albertans genuinely believed the Liberal mentality behind the NEP has since changed/been discarded.
Fortunately, a large number of Albertans know better than that.
Please see Jon’s comment re the NEP. Rinse and repeat.
Domenico, I politely think you are missing Howard’s point: it seems tas though nothing has changed in the Liberal mentality toward Western Canada – and Albertans duly note this.
If the mindset “behind the NEP” no longer existed, you might have a point.
Sadly, it stil lexists, and your “rinse and repeat” comment is therefore off the mark.
Sue her until she can’t even afford to own a computer (and has to go on welfare, ha, ha) So tired of conservative insults aimed at everyone. They are so, so, so creepy and ignorant. Words fail me.
While Anna is “so tired” of conservative insults “aimed at everyone”, some of us are downright exhausted fro mwitnessing supposedly “pro-free-speech” institutions (esp. academic ones) shutting-out public speakers they ideologically agree with.
Why do cons always confuse free speech with hate speech?
They champion free expression so they can indulge in hateful expression, that’s why.
Why do libs always confuse pro-life speech with censorable-speech ?

They’re always blathering on about right to life, birth control, abortion…essentially wanting to exert some form of state control over women’s bodies. In the same breath they’ll tell you they want smaller government. eg Brad Trsot.
They want to increase state power over women’s bodies, shut down safe injection sites, prorogue parliament ad nauseum, but if you want them to register their shootin’ irons suddenly Big Brother and Big Government is out to get them.
The desire for “lawfare” is so very strong in you, Anne.

Not sure who wrote the apology but it would seem that she was able to weasel in the word “facts”.
I’m glad you pursued Ms. Shaidle, Mr. Kinsella and got her to retract her garbage. I hope you also challenge her on her loony anti-Muslim commentary.
And please don’t give credence to SUN TV and appear on their shows until they stop with their vicious anti-Muslim propaganda that spews on almost a weekly basis.

Can anyone else see the venom being spouted as legitimate commentary? Interviewing Jamie Glazov?? A far-right loony nobody belonging to the loony David Horowtiz Centre in the United States, as an “expert” on Islam?
Check out SUN TV’s garbage sub-titles to the interview towards the end: “Muslims preach jihad, threatening Canadians, Americans”, as if those scarrrrryyy Mooooslims are out go get everyone post-Halloween.
