To be fair to Cohen, he just stated the facts: Chretien wasn’t there. Even if he knows JC does not attend policy conventions, his statement would still stand IMO.
Chretien has done much to keep party morale up and running, IMO. And, for all intents and purposes, Canadians still owe him a debt of gratitude for keeping us out of Iraq. He’s a good man.
Meanwhile, Mr. K., I stumbled across this little beauty in my cybertravels, so enjoy!
Well now I’m just plain old curious about what stupid thing Gord said this time. Damn, wish I had gotten hear sooner….
He made libellous comments about my friend, and your successor, Jean Chretien. He can go to his pals at SMD to do that. Not in my house, Sir. W.
Well he has gotten away with spewing quite a bit of his sophomoric pseudo-intellectual B*S* lately, I suppose he became emboldened.
I’d like to see him set up his own blog just to see if he’s a popular as he believes.
Im sure gordtulk.com, tulktales.com and tulkariffic.com are available.
Hey, Gord: my house, my rules. If you don’t like it, you know where the door is.
My vote is for this being the BS comment of the day!

Disagree. He clearly presented it in a way that expressed disapproval: ie., Chretien didn’t bother, the others did.
Seemed very matter-of-fact to me. I’m a huge Chretien fan, but I saw no attack here.
