Bold. I’m definitely going with Doug Findlay. IIRC he was in on the bribing of Chuck Cadman and the point man on the election finance fraud/in and out scandal.
I had a dream in which Ms. Byrne was being intimate with a shadowy figure named Pierre Poutine… sure I awoke screaming… but I still wonder as to its real meaning. 🙂
I got to know that name years ago through the Riddell lawsuit against Harper (which disappointingly was settled out of court on a long weekend with a strict gag order). I didn’t like how she treated an honest person.
Oh please please please please please please please please tarnish zippy the wonder slug (poilievre). The morons in my neighbourhood keep voting him in… there need to be some way to get him out.
This it terribly entertaining. Even has a nice picture of the happy couple.
“…Ms. Byrne in charge on the ground, overseeing day-to-day operations of perhaps one of the most efficient, richest, and iron-disciplined campaign machines in Canadian political history, more may turn on her actions and decisions…”
Last night on The National we had the sight of a reporter trying to get Del Mastro to explain the Conservative change in position on staffers testifying before a Commons committee.
During the last parliament the Conservative refused to allow their staffers to appear before committees. Now they want to compel the Liberal staffer behind Vikileaks to appear.
Of course Del Mastro would not explain the Conservatives reversal. Instead opting to tell the reporter it was the Liberals who had changed their position.

“While it’s unknown what’s next for Kouvalis and Campaign Research, both are still very entrenched in the Conservative party. Kouvalis’ Campaign Research partner, Richard Ciano, is a previous vice-president of the federal Conservative Party …”
thanks for explanation about this group of operatives.
Here are some known and lesser known names which I think will dominate headlines in the coming months: Campaign Research; Nick Kouvalis; Richard Ciano; Julian Fantino; Dean Del Mastro.
😉
Do you mean this Jenni Byrne? http://www.ipolitics.ca/2012/02/23/for-the-record-the-cpcs-jenni-byrne-on-fraudulent-phone-calls/
Sunlight will shine into the shadows soon enough.
Time for Canada to know what Ms. Byrne has been up to “behind” Harper.
I wonder if Jenni has ever visited Guelph, Ontario?

That’s “Finley.” Poor Martha Hall-Findlay keeps getting tarred, er, bitumened with his brush.

Here she is in the 2008 election. With her boyfriend. Some guy called Pierre.

I keep seeing Del Mastro speaking, er, blustering and making stuff up on behalf of Harper and the governing on this electoral fraud file.
Isn’t that normally Pierre Poilievre’s job?
Why isn’t he up front and centre on this?
Interesting.

Pretzel logic.
Oh, man, – If you wrote some of this stuff for a sitcom you were pitching you would not get into the inerview.
I’m wondering whether somebody else you have a great deal of admiration for was involved in any of what is troubling the HarperCons these days : http://toronto.mediacoop.ca/story/robocall-kouvalis-power-behind-throne/10030. He seems thuggish enough to fit the bill …

Just a hunch.
