It would seem that no amount of centralized messaging can stop this wildfire.

  2. Mike says:

Can’t wait to hear what Dean ‘the revolting blob’ Del Maestro comes up with tomorrow to explain this one.

    • Gtoronto says:

Here is the Del Maetro blame list for QP for the week.

      Tues. Ron Wilson
      Wed. Blaine Lastman
      Thurs. Gene Kiniski
      Fri. Galen Weston

  3. frmr disgruntled Con now Happy Lib says:

This thing has legs!……I am experiencing a great deal of schadenfreude these days….lol

    • Geoffrey Laxton says:

“To feel envy is human, to savour schadenfreude is devilish.” (Arthur Schopenhauer)
“Humour is just Schadenfreude with a clear conscience.” (Nietzsche)

      • Ted H says:

Another excellent German word to add to “schadenfreude”, especially in the context of Dean Del Maestro, “backpfeifengesicht” “a face that cries out for a smack”

  4. Michael says:

The best piece of television I have seen in a long time, Dean Del Mastro in a scrum after QP today.

Del Mastro: “The Liberals have to release their phone records”
Reporter: “Will your party be releasing its phone records?”
Del Mastro: “No we won’t. We didn’t do anything, it was the Liberals.”

  5. MCBellecourt says:

A big kudos to Bob Rae. They’re releasing the Liberal Party’s phone records in accordance with proper procedures, that is, getting permission from their communications providers to do so. I don’t think that will be a problem.

Dean Del Meathead bluffed and Mr. Rae called it. Brilliant!

And that backbencher saying that Elections Canada was to blame? Dumb, dumb, dumb!!! The last thing you wanna do is piss off the agency that’s investigating you!!

The Conservative Party–The Gift That Keeps On Giving!! ROTFLMAO!!!!

  6. George says:

Show me one of the 31000 who lost their right to vote.I eagerly await the first citizen to have lost that right.oh they did’nt?

    • Ted H says:

I does not matter if anyone actually lost their right to vote or not. Trying to misdirect a voter so that they do not get to exercise that right is what is against the law.

    • Derek Pearce says:

There is a difference between losing one’s right to vote (which would require legislation) and being misdirected as to where to vote, thereby not getting to vote say, if the polls had closed. That is il-fucking-legal.

    • Robin says:

You “eagerly await the first citizen t have lost that right”? Well, not to worry, that will be in Harper’s next law, I would imagine.

    • Johnny Tuna says:

Let’s see …. I know my client tried to kill this man, but did he die? No? Then no crime has been committed.

  7. MCBellecourt says:

Afterthought: I really hoped some of the progressives stuck in the backbenches would have crossed the floor by now. Guess they’re more concerned about their own selfish ambitions than holding their heads high in deference to their own country.

    Shame on them.

  8. Sam Gunsch says:

    “Merde” ??

    excerpt:
“There is one other thing to note. RMG’s billings do not appear in the national organization’s election records. It’s probably better that way.”

    excerpt:
“In total, according to Elections Canada, 97 Conservative candidates across Canada, including 18 in Quebec, sent cheques to RMG or to other firms making telephone calls for the party.

There is one other thing to note. RMG’s billings do not appear in the national organization’s election records. It’s probably better that way.

The Conservative Party pleaded guilty last November to charges of electoral fraud precisely because it gave campaign funds to its candidates in 2006, and took back some of the money in exchange for a receipt the ridings could claim as legitimate expenses from Elections Canada. The Conservative Party paid $52,000 in fines, but at least nobody went to jail.

The important thing for us Quebeckers to remember is that we were not forgotten by the federal Conservative party in the telephone scheme.

  9. Sean says:

The CPC is about to find out how phenomenally dangerous this walking bag of sleaze actually is.

  10. ottawacon says:

You know, you could at least take a break from wall-to-wall Robocall coverage to pick up on what a horse’s ass Rob Anders is….

  11. deb says:
