I think this Racknine affair is turning into an arachnid.

Tories didn’t declare payments made to robocalls company, can’t explain why

The new Paypal investigation is now featured on the BBC News website. This story is garnering international attention. This can’t be good for the ruling party.

Paypal is VERY VERY detailed about it’s transaction records, going far past IP address and using proprietary techniques to identify where a transaction is going from and to, to make sure it lines up with intended parties. A certain Three Letter Agency made sure of that.

You know how Google Maps can find you within 20m via Google Maps using a WIFI connection? That’s cute. If the Pierre Poutine Paypal was done anywhere near a campaign office, they’ll have it.

At what point does it become prudent for the opposition to back off from the allegations? If the allegations prove to be false does it do more damage to their own credibility?

Or will the Robocon stick to the Conservatives no matter the outcome like sponsorship did with the Liberals?

I would be more inclined to keep my foot on their neck.

  5. Warren says:

Of course he did, Gord. He called in the RCMP in 2002.

Now, be very, very careful what you say next about my friend.

  6. Geoffrey Laxton says:

My fellow Canadians, have you had enough of the Harpercons yet?!

“Tories ditch ‘in-and-out’ case at Supreme Court”

A deflection? Or are they running out of lawyers?

This is what will happen tomorrow.

The prime minister will put Rob Anders out in front of this thing. Rob will put up a front of attentiveness but will promptly fall asleep during question period. When the prime minister gives him an elbow he will shoot fully awake screaming that Nelson Mandela made all the robo calls from NDP headquarters. He will add quickly before he has time to think that homeless vets were manning the phones. When he fully wakes up and realizes just what he has said he will start to hiss and scream at Jesus to start the Armageddon…
