Ahhhh yes, harkens back to my youth……the real seats occupied with dad, mom, my three siblings, and my twin best friends and I residing(quite happily) in the compartment behind the rear seat…….would be looked upon as child abuse today……It was hot, and noisy, but fun!
I’d still prefer an Austin Mini, but they are rarer then hens teeth stateside. Though there is one sweet mildly customized ’64 I am sorely tempted by (and it’s for sale). Chromed engine with dual webers and a sunroof. The perfect beetle (except for the single rear window). The price is right and it would be super awesome – until Mrs. Burns found out.
I restored one of those in my youth. Engine, floorpan, fenders, windows. Easy to fix, had it been Swedish you could have fixed it with an allan key. There’s a couple of firms that do body-off restorations for about 15 grand.
Beauty! Dual oval rear windows and all! I’d give your other kidney for it too!
Sorry, but the bidding currently stands at a kidney AND a liver.
Gorgeous! I’ve got a few glossy books about old Beatles, including one with goreous b&W pics of the assembly lines in the 50s.

Haha I just realized I spelled the Lennon-McCartney concern and not the German automotive concern 😉
Lots of them for sale on Kijiji.ca, maybe not that old or collectible.
Hippie.
Like, fuck OFF!!
I’m gonna hit you.

Damn, you nearly had me, for a moment I was impressed…

I wanted one of those so badly when I was in university! Sweet!
