The crowd, and the venue – and now the band – are as far from punk rock as you can possibly get. Daughter is happy, however. Sigh.

The crowd, and the venue – and now the band – are as far from punk rock as you can possibly get. Daughter is happy, however. Sigh.
How depressing.
I saw them at the auditorium de Verdun about 15 years ago and it stands out as the most intense crowd & live performances I’ve seen. To say it was nuts & out of control wouldn’t do that evening justice.
Something about the huge disconnected stages at large venues like the ACC & Scotiabank takes the heart & soul away from the performances. I’ll take a small live show with a crowd of 100 over 20 000 roaring fans any day.
Amen to that.
