We get letters: Thursday’s winner

From “Jay” at jc1@bell.net:

This is the stupidest website I have ever seen.
I have read the comments left by loyal followers of this website, and I can say
I would not be proud of the quality of character’s that this website attracts.
But, I guess the fish rots from the head down!

Oh man, I love it when you publish these things. That one was funnier than the last two. Do you have more?

Please tell me that you don’t pay people in prison or really really stupid people to write them.

I like them and really need to see at least one a day for my morning laugh.

    Keep up the good work.

Question though, maybe a bit too philosophical ( whoa-that’s a big word ) but the writer thinks that your website attracts people of limited quality, then why is he/she on your site. Hmmmmmmmm a mystery.

Anyway, I am going to bed especially early tonight, so I can wake up really early in the morning to read more of these.

    Well done Warren.

To answer the question why “Jay” is on a site of people of limited quality:

We are the Borg. Lower your firewalls and surrender your web browsers. We will add your ideological distinctiveness to our own. Your politics will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile (but still very very very funny.)

    • Les Miller says:

Hey! I’m not in prison, and Mr. Kinsella doesn’t pay me a penny to post here (though I suspect he might pay quite handsomely to get me to go away).

Additionally, I believe I am merely really stupid, not really, really stupid. Though I’m certain others will tell you otherwise.

  2. Chris P says:

And yet he’s here reading everything and caring enough to write an email.

  3. Riaz Khan says:

Wow…. it is sad… whatever happened to civility…

  5. Damn. Uhm, could you not pass these two posts through moderation? I screwed up my username and email.

” I guess the fish rots from the head down!” And how far down are ye?
Methinks you are as loyal to “your side” as you accuse people here are.
WK on a side note– this is too easy man. Where’s the guy who was still complaining about George Jefferson a month ago (be Helmsley even died RIP ? )

  8. Paul Raposo says:

Well, at least he called it a website, and not a blog.

  9. Kre8tv says:

I guess all you can say to that is “hey thanks for not calling my website a blog.”

  10. Kre8tv says:

Oops. Sorry Paul. I didn’t see your comment ahead of mine til now.

  11. wsam says:

Jay’s use of the apostrophe is interesting.

  12. Les Miller says:

    Ooooooh, I Like it!

Do I need to be ashamed to admit that I like the song, too?
