We get letters: from the Sun web site
I don’t usually pay any attention whatsoever to what’s found below my Sun columns. Life’s too short, etc. And, besides, it’s unkind to laugh at mental defectives.
Dunno why, but decided to see the comments beneath this weekend’s effort. The one below was just too good, and it cried out for a wider (and saner) audience.

These letters always scare the heck out of me. They make me do a great big mental check on myself and I’m still not certain. Because when I read them I realize that people don’t know when they are deluded and paranoid that they can get caught in some false mental construct forever without recognizing it. Like the one that Trudeau caused all their problems. I know he didn’t cause mine and that he made my life better. But if it can happen to them can it happen to me? Am I sane and dealing with reality? Boy, I hope so.
He may be one of the brighter intellects who read the Sun…………I’ve seen some pretty screwed up people posting on their articles and columns
I guess these guys who leave you messages don’t ever think or care that anyone will read them. Yes, the communication skills could be worked on as well as the accuracy. Oh well.
Whilst I Am Genuinely Saddened By Someone’s INABILITY To Express Themselves, I do possess the manners NOT to Chastise Them Personally, on the spot … HECK, with all that “Low Impulse Control STUFF” Stuck Like Glue To These Folks.
Upon Observing Suitable Precaution … I Love It Whenever I May Challenge The Opinion Of A Neighbour AND THEY RESPOND WITH : “I READ IT IN THE TORONTO SUN” … as if the Sun Newspaper Has Some Sort Sort Of “STRAIGHT GOODS” EXCLUSIVE ON REALITY … HaHa HaHaHa … SMILES !!
I will sometimes follow-up with the question : WHAT other Newspapers Do You Read and the answer is almost always … an indignant : I don’t need To Read Other Nespapers … (99 % of the time) !!
