It still makes me tear up, after all these years.
Last year I tried to stand near that spot outside the Dakota, and couldn’t.
I needed to get away as quickly as I could.
Was in Liverpool a few years ago and had a chance to visit the Beatles Museum. Lots of interesting displays. The last display is a glassed-in room, all white with a grand piano & a picture of JL on it, with “Imagine” playing on a loop. Strong stuff.

I still refuse to commemorate this. I’ll stick to commemorating his Birthday.
