Back to school
Son One has suggested that I kill him instead of making him go back.
“That sounds a bit extreme,” I suggested. “Besides, you only have another decade or so of school to go. What could be wrong with that?”
I can now hear him upstairs, actually moaning.

Once your SON has a successful career due to his schooling, he’ll know you are right.
For now though….you are the bad guy.
Hah! I remember coming across the question, “Which would you rather, 12 years in prison, or repeat your schooling?”
Well, kids only think five minutes from now if even that much so anything related to the future is not helpful. Its too conceptual. Just acknowledge that no one wants to go back after a holiday but we all do.
