You might want to include context— I didn’t immediately realize it was the way the Star had photos organized, had to actually look up the tweet in question for that.

The two dumbs in the upper right hand picture are easy to spot, but the third is much harder to find. This is much harder than Where’s Waldo. How about a little hint.
I wouldn’t sweat the small stuff. We Canadians are just too smug these days. A little criticism from outsiders never hurts. Besides, we’re pretty good at moralizing to others.
Canada has become an embarrassment. Run by selfish pricks working on behalf of even more selfish bigger pricks. Why can’t we be more like Norway or Denmark, for a change? We used to be. Now we’re turning into a meaner uglier place that nobody asked for except for the guys with all the money while the “Little guys” who do the work see their wages and benefits cut.
Canadians have a right to food. The current government doesn’t believe it. What does that say about them? What does that say about the people who go for them?
Got that right. Kellie Leitch of the so-called Conservatives certainly dodged the issue on Power & Politics on Monday. She’s got a future in figure skating after politics with the way she can spin the issue. She just flat out ignored the facts about food bank use. I don’t know how this government and it’s supporters can sleep at night but it appears full stomachs dull a person’s empathy.
Kelly, probably the most misused, if not outright abused, phrase in western politics of the last couple decades is, “I have a right!” Most often it is used to somehow sanctify what are actually “entitlements”. What man has a right to is freedom and liberty…some would argue, God given. From this stems a right to freedom of speech, thought, religion, and association. Constitutions/charters are guarantors, not grantors, of said rights, and it is the role/responsibility of governments/judicial systems to protect and enforce these rights…bearing in mind that the first and ultimate threat to these rights are in fact, governments. And I can cite about a kabillion historical references to back this up.
Governments’ role therefore, within the context of democracy, is to protect your freedom to find gainful employment, and thus prosper from the fruits thereof. It is NOT the role of government to put food on your plate for you! Nor is it the role of government to put food on store shelves, or on a tray at MacDonalds, for you to buy at your leisure! An more than is it the role of government to put clothes on your back, jingle in your pocket, or a GD TV in your living room! That, bud, is up to you, and you alone! It’s called “responsibility”, which comes hand in hand with rights.
The abusive and destructive preponderance to overlay notions/fantasies of “entitlements” onto “rights” lies at the very root of the rot that now is systematically crushing nations under massive debts, strangling economies, wreaking financial chaos, and ultimately tearing at the very fabric of democracies…and thus threatens the very freedoms and liberties we all take so much for granted, and for which so many fought and died.
We never, ever used to be like Norway or Denmark! Where did you get that from? And what the hell do you even know about Norway or Denmark???
The UN is a bloody pathetic joke! Iranians and the like sitting on, if not chairing, human rights panels and telling the rest of the world about rights and how to live??? Seriously??? The places reeks of rank socialism, if not quasi-communism! The afore mentioned clown’s report reads like some university Marxist’s Disneyland manifesto! Europe and Obama’s America now threaten to suck Canada down the toilet into financial/economic ruin along with ’em, and we have to listen to moronic crap like that, the ideological essence of which lies at the very core of what’s killing us in the first place??? As it is popularly said around here, you just can’t make up s*** like this!
I would only add, now that I think of it, there was a time not that long ago when, if one were to stand up and claim such “rights” the likes of which get bandied about so easily these days, one’s old man might well have dropped ’em on the spot like a bad habit right then and there for having the gall to embarrass him with such talk in front of proper company.
…maybe that’s what’s been missing for too long a time now.
Dumb… but probably a mistake… I hope. So sad watching The Star get to this point.
Hahahaha talk about a Freudian editorial, graphics, and page layout slip! Someone should tell the Star we have gun pr0n control in Canada!

But yea, crazy.
This photo perfectly illustrates Harper and Ford’s love of gun-nuttery.
Hopefully both will be kicked out and replaced with sensible gun control progressives.

Is that the face of jesus.. or a rabid squirrel I’m seeing in the muzzle blast ?
OT here, ’cause this UN crap just riles the hell outta me…
