Source? His own brother. “Mayor Rob Ford has penned ‘numerous’ letters for criminals: Doug Ford.” That’s the headline in the Sun, right here.
Rob Ford claims he opposes “hug a thug” programs. But the thugs he hangs out with, personally?
They’re okay.
Cue the “no harm, no foul, so we had a few pops, nobody got hurt” bleating.
I can’t imagine any of this sitting well with the Sun’s self-professed pro-cop, pro-Law ‘N’ Order, anti-crime, anti-criminal readership. I know they’re perfectly willing to let their own off the hook for things they’d want to crucify their political enemies for, but sooner or later, there’s a limit.
I don’t think there is a limit. Until he is caught naked, with an unwilling naked child, Etobicoke will support him. Even then, they will say the little guy was probably a tease…
What’s funny is that Dug doesn’t realize how damning his statement is to his brothers and the people around him who should know better.
That’s exactly what I thought when I read that Doug said that.
Indeed. And of the two brothers, Doug’s supposed to be the smart one.
You’d think they’d be embarrassed to be seen in Ford’s company.
