Toronto needs a mayor: And John Tory isn’t it

Like the way this Matt guy writes, too. Nice style. Key graf:

So why rock the boat? If Tory is still conflicted about running this year, then he should take that as a sign that he simply shouldn’t. This election is way too important to be dominated by yet another will-he-or-won’t-he Tory story.

Couldn’t you say that about any prominent undeclared candidate:

So why rock the boat? If XXXX is still conflicted about running this year, then s/he should take that as a sign that s/he simply shouldn’t. This election is way too important to be dominated by yet another will-s/he-or-won’t-s/he XXXX story.

As a Leader, mr Tory is, at best, a mediocre radio show host. Opportunity knocked, Mr Tory was too busy talking to his broker to take the call. The result, my poor friends in TeaHo is what you have for a mayor. Mr Tory is at least in part to blame for that.

He is probably The Best Mayor Toronto Never Had, and should remain with that title. I like him a lot, but he just shouldn’t.
