I agree with the poster, they are everywhere, everywhere: I go to my kitchen, there is one in there, using my cooking tools, I go to use my car, I have to get another one to move her car out of my driveway, I sit down to watch the hockey game on tv, there’s anther one hogging the remote and watching Down Town Abbot, they’re everywhere, just…they’re everywhere.
My best friend, an avowed feminist, (who was your typical stay at home mom in the sixties until she picked up Betty Friedan’s Book “the Feminine Mystique” in the local library) would love this.
She went on to take classes part time(while working at a full time labouring job for the university)got her BSW, then her Masters of Social Work, and while now retired, still is a sessional lecturer at our local University.
As a father of two young women in university, I can honestly say that in 2040 women will dominate Canada.
Was at my son’s University of Alberta graduation ceremony earlier this year, and women graduates outnumbered men graduates 2 to 1. Sometimes, there would be 13-16 women graduates in a row.
In a short time, the wiser sex will dominate Canada.
Thank you! My long-term goal is to get a woman to represent me in Parliament to replace Steven Harper’s mediocre representative to my community.
I have one representing me in Parliament right now. They’re awesome! I’d like it even better if she were mayor of my city, though.
I’m with you there. It’d be nice to see someone with vision (and intelligence) return to City Hall.
I’d prefer if that were a short term goal!
me, too, smelter….2015 OK?

Love that one.

My neighbor , at the age of 83, just got her Engineering Degree after raising a family of five. I am surrounded by fabulous women!

Maybe we should have an International Men`s Day before they are left too far behind.
