Toronto already has 44 elected advisors for a Mayor to rely on. They’re called City Council.

So the mayor isn’t allowed to listen to community leaders other than members of council? I’ll be happy just to have a mayor who listens to people who aren’t family members.

    • EB says:

Any dolt can become a city Councillor, witness Doug Ford or Rob Ford. I sure don’t mind a mayor having people with these types of credentials as advisors. Looks pretty impressive, I must say.

    • W the K - No, not Warren says:

It’s a campaign advisory committee. She gets props for saying who the members are.

Well aside from Michele Landsberg it looks like a pretty solid group. I especially like the choice of David Caplan.

Thanks Rich for helping to make our Olympic err Pan Am Games dream a reality.

Hopefully somebody on this list will help stop really bad ideas from proceeding.

  5. Jerry says:

Well at at least Olivia Chow will be the only candidate who won’t displace thousands of poor people so that yuppies can celebrate the Pan Am Games.
