If these “artists” were producing stuff people wanted to buy, then they wouldn’t be struggling now would they?

Might as well flus the $360 million down the shitter.

This announcement will help him in downtown Toronto and Montreal. Problem is the Liberals are already strong in those areas.

Down the shitter is the $750M in self-promotion the past 9 years of CONS rule that we are paying interest on today and our children and grandchildren will have to pay off in the future.

If a choice between another stupid, Action Plan ad, and support for a struggling artist, it is a no-brainier for me.

When I read statements like yours I’m reminded of the quip attributed to Dorothy Parker who, when asked to use the word horticulture in a sentence, said ” you can lead a horticulture but you can’t make her think”.

The idea that if art was good or wanted by the public then artists wouldn’t be struggling is the most ignorant thing I’ve read on these comment threads and I’ve read some pretty dumb things here.

    New Forum:

    CPC – 33%
    NDP – 29%
    Libs – 29%

CPC projected minority with 145 seats, NDP second at 97, Libs third at 95, Greens at 1.

26% who voted Dipper in 2011 will vote Lib now and 28% that voted Lib last time will vote Dipper now.

But remember, IT’S FORUM. Posted just because it’s out there.

No more money to struggle artists. They don’t seem to pay back when do start to make money, you would think that this would be the way. Artist’s that make it helping the ones on the way up……not happening in their world. So ask the gov’t for a hand out.
