Two weeks ago, right about now
I was getting married to my best friend in Kennebunkport.
Two weeks later, I’m out on a canoe in Northern Ontario somewhere, with Son 3.
As Son 3 said: “Dad, we are pretty lucky.”

All canoe trips, even the grotty ones, are gifts from Heaven. Good on you, Warren, for turning off the smart phone, shutting down the laptop and getting out there. Kids remember canoe trips, not endless hours going blind looking at tiny screens.
