—Imitation is the highest form of flattery…well, maybe not in this case
I knew that one line from Kenney's speech sounded familiar. Double-checked, and, sure enough… #ableg #cdnpoli pic.twitter.com/bzfCUHqjBl

Anyone can paraphrase from The Sermon on the Mount. Two Catholics paraphrasing the Sermon on the Mount. Anyone surprised?
Matthew 5:43-48 Love your enemies.
I listened to Kenney’s entire speech.
It was riddled with various phrases from Harper, Trudeau and even Donald Trump. It was essentially a concoction of self-congratulatory platitudes with desperately obvious nudges to Reform Party hay-days.
I’m calling this a failed launch already.
His kick-off speech lacked direction. He failed to articulate his case for entering the race for a party he shares so little in common with and has been pretty much snubbing for the past several years. He also failed to deliver his optimism with any real passion; just anecdote after anecdote of nothingness. Ultimately, he just looked like a has-been politician attempting a career rebirth on a platform made up of broad fiscal conservatism and vague social-liberalism.
It seemed like Jason Kenney was trying really hard to be the kind of politician that won in both the 2011 federal election and 2015 federal election. Though, its evident that he values his “ethnic” credentials enough to reference them every goddamn second.
One thing that really stuck out to me was his reference to “the silent majority” during his speech. Which is a pretty blatant attempt at courting WRP voters with a Tea Party tool. Politically speaking, I don’t know how anyone could think Kenney is a good fit for the PC party; its like trying to jam a square puzzle piece into a circle hole.
Elie Weisel died this week. Fuck Jason Kenney.
Kenny continues to draw his MP salary while running for the PCA leader job. Classic grifting.
Fake smiling. Joyless. We’re done with no fun. He don’t get it.
and what does Al from Cranbrook think?
Honestly, this hasn’t really been the topic of any conversations I’ve had among friends and family. Nobody cares about Kenney.
As one wag put it: If Kenny wants to unite the right – he should join the Wildrose.
.. when in doubt re Jason Kenney .. consult the web pages of Emily Dee – ordinary Canadian ..
Jason Kenney ? Is he still around ?
Rounder than ever.
