You may be doing the Lord’s work, but wasn’t it just a few days ago that someone was reporting how he and his family were reduced to a nervous silence driving down the I-90 for fear of awakening the rage of those dangerous, volatile Trump supporters? Racists to the left, rednecks to the right, etc.? Now you are accosting strangers and banging on doors to tout for the fair Hillary? I hope you are packing heat, for defensive purposes only, of course. Are New England Trump supporters a more civilized breed?

Serious question: did you ever encounter anyone who noticed your accents aren’t from around there (maybe even recognized them as Canadian) and then made comments along the lines of, “foreigners” sticking their noses into the U.S. election?
I just wondered because I hear about Canadian Conservatives who’ve headed south to help elect Republicans and vice versa and always wondered how that would fly.
