Just like John Lennon protested the failure of ‘Cold Turkey’ moving up the charts by sending back his MBE, I am protesting that none of you have turned the Hot Nasties ‘Hey There Girl’ into a massive hit.
I want to retire on the royalties and live on a beach in Jamaica. Get with it, people.
needs to be said… Jamaica is one of the most homophobic places on earth. Choose a different beach and maybe I’ll help out.
I’ve noticed so many late boomers/early GenXers talk about retiring in foreign places like Jamaica and Morocco…which would mean you don’t see or participate in the lives of your Grandkids or peers. How did you all become so rootless and detached?
