I don’t think most Conservatives hate Trudeau. People in all parties are mostly not that fanatic or petty.
When I was with Jamieson, the almost universal refrain among local CPC members was that I “hated” Harper. And nope, they were wrong.
As you would say, life’s too short, etc.
