Right here.

I agree with those who say you are an excellent journo WK when you take off your partisan hat. You’ve been doing some great writing and opining lately. Especially enjoyed the 5 stages of partisan denial. Reading/watching social media etc., I see them continuing to make your point in that regard. No matter, as you pointed out to Adler, Justin Trudeau has now entered the history books as the first PM to ever be found guilty of ethics violations. He’ll wear it forever.
One final point and I’d like your take on this. If it had been Stephen Harper found guilty under similar circumstances, would the dandy lions of the Ottawa Press Gallery and the Toronto MSM, be calling for his resignation?

    • Ronald O'Dowd says:

Without a doubt. Harper had so much trouble making friends in the media. He took their reporting far too personally. It comes with the territory — and the job but Harper seemingly never could even grudgingly accept that. At least PET, a similar type, knew how to use the media to his advantage. That totally escaped Harper…

Sounds more like an indictment of a supposedly fair and balanced media than of Harper. They after all are supposed to be the pros in their field. Do you think if PMSH had been the first PM found guilty of ethics violations they would NOT have called for his resignation? Somehow I think most folks would disagree.
