“A well-known critic of Mr. Trudeau,” sayeth the New York Times

Which made me laugh.

It is amazing that the NYT is spinning this as a conspiracy to weaken Trudeau’s position in relation to Trump. I guess some figures are still immune to the MeToo movement. How this has not taken off is beyond me.

It’s the New York Times. It’s what they do.

They not only ‘spin’ the truth…they will make stuff up if they have to. They’ve been caught doing so. They have BRAGGED about “creating” public opinion. Like so many other news outlets, when it comes to Donald Trump there are no ethical or moral boundaries for them; they will say or do anything to smear him, no matter what.

I’m not sure exactly what it is about Trump that makes otherwise intelligent people act so stupidly (not to mention immaturely). As a small-c conservative with a libertarian bent, I should be reveling in this, but I’m not. I don’t tend to wish bad things upon my political opponents just because I disagree with them; you won’t catch me chortling with delight when tragedy strikes them or their families or attempting to bully them on social media, because I understand what that actually makes *me* look like (and it’s not flattering). I feel a bit saddened when I see formerly rational and respected people embarrassing themselves due to uncontrollable TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome).

The most recent NYT ‘spin’ was to report that 1000 people attended a Trump rally when it was actually 5000. THEY KNEW THAT. It didn’t matter. They have no shame anymore.
