Off topic WK but I just got back home after seeing the New Order concert this eve. I know you despise them but you might be the teensiest bit satisfied to hear that the encore was all Joy Division songs. I think more than a few of us now-middle-agers may have had a tear or two in our eye.
Despise them? Not a chance. Ceremony is being played at my funeral, which may happen sooner than I’d like!
Oh I’m glad to have been wrong about that all this time, I was under the wrong impression for some reason. Anyhow the whole evening left me in a bittersweet but ultimately good mood.
