Congrats – I know you and Lisa worked very hard at this. A true victory for precedent law in Canada.
$5000 or up to 6 weeks in jail. I doubt it’ll be much of a deterrent, but good news nonetheless.
This case is on the newsloop in Ottawa today. Congrats on the win. I am somewhat confused as to how this went from one judge who threw the case and the next judge that ushered in the conviction? Bottom line is that this win is very good news to my ears.
