AOC will not be on the ticket for the very simple reason that under Article II, Section 1 (and the 12th Amendment) of the US Constitution, she will not be eligible for the office of President or VP until she turns 35 in 2024.
What that means in practice is that she can’t run for either office until 2028. So you’ve got lots of time to build your bunker.

I’m for Biden 1000% percent.
But I worry whether Joe can make it in the reality of a 2019-2020 political context. Are his reflexive impulses and thought processes stuck in a political age gone by? That’s the neutron bomb risk with Biden — and it’s considerable. It’s not that Joe is a gaffe-prone machine, especially now in the era of Trump.
As for Veep: that’s a glass ceiling that is overdue to be broken, to quote Hillary in another context.

That’s exactly why Hillary lost, as I said here right from the start: the Rust Belt, after two terms of Obama and *zero* action to get their manufacturing going again, had simply had enough of being patronized and lied to by the Democrats, and saw (rightly or wrongly) another option in Donald Trump. They *might* have given Biden or some other candidate (even Sanders) a chance, but Hillary Clinton was just such a poor choice that they felt they had no option.

Maybe. But Biden gives me the creeps. However, I’m Canadian so my opinion is moot.
