I’ve voted for the Greens in the past (Adriane Carr, Vancouver Centre, 2008 and 2011) but I just cannot being myself to support the current party under Elizabeth May. She has just engaged in too much out-there behaviour (presenting a 9/11 Truther petition in Parliament, drunkenly defending Omar Khadr at the Press Gallery dinner, shilling for homeopathy, engaging in conspiracy theories about WiFi, etc). If they ditched May and got a serious leader like Mike Schreiner or David Coon or Peter Bevan-Baker (if he doesn’t become Premier of PEI that is) and positioned themselves as something more than a fringe party, I’d get interested again.
I forgot about her drunk at the press gallery dinner. That was shameful.
