Yes, I expected the Prime Minister to try and stem the negative tide. Trouble is, he failed and a lot of new people no longer trust or take at face value anything the PM says.
They made this move because they are desperate to save HMCS Trudeau and they simply failed miserably at that.
He kinda looks like the Joker from Batman.

PM Trudeau is a perpetual liar: Aga Khan is a friend but Trudeau hadn’t seen him for 35 yrs. He got a free trip for the family to the Aga island used his helicopter(which was illegal) on the final trip to the island. Trudeau is not allow to except gifts, not declared.Fast forward to the Kielburger brothers he said he doesn’t know them, yet his whole family is involved with them…working for the Kielburgers….making money or getting their trips fully paid for, not declared. PM Trudeau is a pathological liar. Enough is a Enough..Canadians can’t keep taking this kind of Bull Sh*t from Trudeau whom thinks he is entitled to our Taxpayer money!!
