I’m sorry, but I have little patience today with those who are chirping that last night’s debate was a shock because it was divisive and ugly and hateful. Anyone who has been paying attention isn’t shocked. Because the debate was a perfect distillation of the past four years.

I was actually expecting it to be a lot worse. I suspect the next two will be.
They are talking about changing the format, to make it more controllable. Will be interesting to see what form that takes, especially in the debate that is a town hall. Can you imagine how Trump will react to a challenging question from an audience member? He is probably working on his shortlist of personal insults right now.
Ya. I thought about it for awhile and although I still feel it was internationally embarrassing, it was a pressure cooker explosion and all-in-all Biden did well considering what he had to deal with.
