Assholes are made, not born. But in their arrogance and legendary stu7pidity, the never contemplate the boomerang nor anticipate it’s inevitable return with gusto. So, to be brief, those fuckers can all go royally fuck themselves.

Ukraine. I like to keep it simple as someone who supports a widening of the war to rid ourselves of the devil incarnate’s representative: if you send tanks, how can you then legitimately refuse to send fighters? Et voilà.
I’d like to get rid of Putin, but I think it has to happen from within Russia. If NATO is too assertive, if he sees his end is near, he’ll shoot off a nuke. The only thing preventing a regime change strategy is the threat of him shooting off nukes – his past statements suggest he’s prepared to use nukes. Is it a bluff? I don’t know, but considering his past statements he’ might.
I don’t agree one bit with Pierre’s support for the convoy types but hey, it won’t swing the next election against him, just like it did nothing when Pauline was in the streets with her casseroles. In the subsequent election, the Charest Liberals tried to make hay with that, in the election, and still ended up out on their ass with Marois becoming premier.
I think PP will wear his support for the convoy until the next election, and that’s a direct link to the more radical elements of the Conservative party. It turns people off. He’s embracing them, casting them as victims of overzealous federal needling, but most see them as radicals with a slew of unacceptable views on a range of subjects, with public health counting as just one. Conspiracy theory and Pseudo Science, and PP will wear it.
I will put it to you that by the time the election rolls around, the convoy will not exactly be a pressing national priority nor will the role played by federal politicians. Inflation continues unabated and continues to go up as the economy continues to deteriorate on this Prime Minister’s watch. No wonder that Trudeau seemingly has decided to delay the election, perhaps to the legal maximum, a full-fledged five-year
mandate for this government. Just like Daddy in 1979.
Inflation is abating, but slowly. It might be less of an issue when the next election rolls around. Food inflation is largely due to drought and climate change, so I’m not sure what anybody can do about that; in the short term anyway.
Who’s to blame for the spread of all the propaganda that comes from the convoy? Manipulating and brainwashing people with ridiculous conspiracy in the midst of a global crisis.
Herbert Lacroix, already the highest paid CBC exec, gets a retroactive 10.3% raise ($44,000) on his $428,000 salary, apparently on the personal recommendation/request of Justin Trudeau, five years after he retired.
The same guy who had to repay $29,000 in ‘improper” expense claims.
This is great! The perfect endorsement of the TRUDEAU Liberal mentality and it goes without saying that every Trudeau Liberal voter is automatically entirely in agreement with this. They like how this Prime Minister first and foremost knows how to take care of his own. Hurrah! Keep it coming. So many other Liberals are eagerly waiting for their pay raise or pension upgrade.
Love the U-Mass track. Thank-you. Must revisit the Pixies. The real find off that album(for me) was the cover of Jesus and Mary Chain’s Head On.
Warren,

Better.

Curious V,
Yes, it is abating in two sectors while continuing to rise in all the others. I must find that chart.

Jagmeet Singh, care to comment on your continued support for this kind of behaviour?
Totally insane and, strangely enough, nothing on the CBC.
MP reconfirms she is just a silly cult member groupie:
