   Look at how those distant mountains are drawing us in, trying to seduce us. What a magnetic pull. Hell, it could quite conceivably convince me to head West for a visit.

   With this wonderful piece of art, Mr. Kinsella has unwittingly tapped into the old adage “good fences make good neighbours”. The posts are straight, and the 3 strand wire is taught…not a staple missing.

   Canada has a lot of fence mending to do around the world. We are viewed as a diplomatic mirage. Always full of fancy words and willingness to convene, but disinclined to protect our borders and happy to stand back and watch while foreign countries meddle in our elections.
