Jagmeet Singh, coward-in-chief

  1. PJH says:

I suggest the Bollinger Bolshevik’s gold plated pension means more to him than his deal with the Dauphin.

As Jagmeet Singh entered the House of Commons in 2019, he needs to be a sitting MP until at least 2025 in order to be eligible to collect it.

Result: He and his band of ne’er-do-wells will continue to prop up the ignoble, inept and corrupt gov’t of the Dauphin until such time its appropriate (for Jagmeet’s pocket book) to pull the plug.

    Yer welcome.

    • Sean says:

Jagmeet Singh is the most shameful, permanently disgraced NDP Leader of all time. He should not be allowed to attend any interview or debate in which he pretends to represent the NDP. That would only be normalizing this conduct. It will be a multi generational effort to drag the NDP back into the light after this disaster. The NDP caucus and / or membership needs to start demanding his immediate removal… Not tomorrow… not next week. Now. After that, he should be made to sit as an independent backbencher for the rest of the term.

      • Peter Williams says:

Jagmeet Singh said he’d use every tool he had to force a public inquiry.

What he did: Jagmeet sided with the Liberals and voted down calling David Johnston to account.

Jagmeet Singh – all talk – no action.

  2. Douglas W says:

Anticipating the formation of a new federal party: the Liberal Democrats.

It’ll happen before the next trip to the polls.

  3. Gilbert says:

    I completely agree.

  4. Martin Dixon says:

170 mps representing almost 68% of the country voted to get rid of Dave. His buddy Justin is ignoring the will of parliament. I can’t even imagine how apoplectic the usual suspects would get if this were Harper.

  5. Warren,

Once AGAIN, Jagmeet is showing all of us that he’s nothing more than a walking political joke on his best day. Way beyond sad. Incredibly pathetic.

    • Douglas W says:

What’s worse: the extremely strong NDP caucus members that are seldom seen or heard: Brian Masse, Rachel Blaney, Alexandre Boulerice, Lindsay Mathyssen.

  6. Peter Williams says:

David Johnston flips a finger at Jagmeet Singh

  7. Sean says:

Just another respectable Canadian…. who mindlessly walked up to Katie and Gerald’s altar of corruption… and chose political suicide over credibility.

When Jagmeet Singh is forced out, his NDP membership should be permanently revoked. He should also be barred from delivering a farewell speech at the subsequent Leadership Convention.

  8. Sean says:

Why is the NDP caucus pretending any of this is normal? Is it all about their pensions?! They need to do their jobs and demand Singh’s resignation immediately.

  9. Peter Williams says:

What do you expect from a man who accepted a $2000 gift rocking chair?

  10. Gary says:

On the bright side: PP mentioned Justin’s alledged grooming behavior when he was a substitute teacher and JT looked like he was about to cry.

    • Martin Dixon says:

The usual suspects that are keeping(and helped put) JT in power didn’t think that was appropriate. Former conservative, Andrew Coyne, for one.

  11. western view says:

It’s hard to imagine who is the real kamikaze pilot in this farce, Jagmeet Singh? David Johnstone? The CSIS leaker(s)?
Roll them all together, and we are just a real juicy leak away from a direct magazine hit into HMS Liberal. And the explosion will bring resignations and an election campaign.

  12. Gloriosus et Liber says:

The days of the NDP being the “conscience of Parliament” are over.

Or maybe that only applies to Tories now.

  13. Derek Pearce says:

Not to mention he’s just plain disingenuous. “We can’t have an election because we can’t be sure it will be a fair election, so I’m going to prevent an election because the government won’t look into if we can have a fair election…” it’s all just bonkers.

I have literally no party left to vote for anymore. I guess I could waste my vote in my riding and vote Green. Meh.

  14. Douglas W says:

Jagmeet lacks the jam to lead a party, and to oppose.

And so he stays as close to the trough as possible, because he knows all good things never last forever.

  15. Peter Williams says:

As Johnston tries to Navigate his way out of trouble, has he hired McKinsey?

    • Warren,

Pray tell, who gets to pay those navigating bills? You, me and everyone else. That’s who.

History will not be kind nor forgiving.

(P.S. So much for being a PC. I guess money comes first.)

      • Peter Williams says:

Justin and his Liberal cronies, supported by the NDP, are extravagant spenders. Much of that spending benefits themselves or friends.

Remember when Justin bought 8 boats for Harrington Lake, and charged them to tax payers? Bet his kids (and Johnston’s relatives?) had lots of fun with them.

And of course Butts and Telford who pulled a fast one on moving expenses. They said they paid it back, but did they really?

And my favourite from Catherine McKenna. She supposedly oversaw some $30 billion in infrastructure spending, but the Parliamentary Budget Officer said they could find no evidence that about half the projects were ever started. It was a spending black hole.

        Where did the money go?

        • Peter,

Easy. It went to Trudeau Liberal money heaven. No kidding!

          • Peter Williams says:

            Ronald

Imagine a reporter asking Justin Trudeau a question and getting an honest answer.

Reporter: “Mr Trudeau, why won’t you hold a public inquiry?”

Trudeau: “Well, the inquiry head would be independent and could hire whomever they want. But a special rapporteur, will hire good Liberals, so we can toss lots of money to our friends.”

  16. The Doctor says:

Amazing – the Chinese have even managed to make Jenny Kwan look good.

    • Doc,

Somewhat related: it’s one thing for Chinese forces, the PLA or otherwise, to buzz Taiwanese planes or intercept Taiwanese naval assets but it’s quite another thing, a far more disturbing thing, to do so to American planes or ships, even in international airspace or waters. In short, when WWIII almost inevitably comes, it will be more about China than Ukraine, much to my astonishment. And it goes without saying that when Canada gets invaded, it won’t be by Russians.
