I don’t hate him. I oppose him.

And there is a ballot question for Toronto women summed up in one exchange. Smart kid. It would appear to be an unsolvable problem though. I get defending him when one doesn’t like the alternative but defending him unilaterally? Come on. My family come from all political stripes(Green, NDP, Liberal and Conservative) but we all see Justin for what he is.

I don’t hate the guy either.

I hate that the people around him insist on making it impossible for the Liberal Party to move forward and return to normal.

The moment he resigns, everyone will be asking, what the hell took so f%&king long?! Why didn’t this happen 6-7 years ago?! What was achieved in the meantime that justified Canada being so frequently embarrassed and disgraced? Why did so many prominent Canadians have to demolish their integrity to continue the fake leadership fraud?

At the end of the day it was all about pensions, easy contracts and proximity to public funds. Its basically all about money.

People think I hate him but I don’t. Hate just wastes energy. The only emotional reaction I have is confusion over how literally blind people like Jennifer TO are to his clear limitations.

  4. Warren,

Well, I proudly hate three people: Putin, MBS and the asshole Trump. Trudeau is simply too insignificant to bother hating.

  5. Gilbert says:

I don’t like to use the word “hate”. Yves-Francois Blanchet recently said that Justin Trudeau is the least worthy to hold the title of prime minister. I agree with him.

  6. Doug says:

…but he is so good looking.

I’ve hated the guy since becoming aware of his existence. He is as fake a fake gets. (full disclosure: I am a male Gen X’r, raised in Calgary, STEM background, despise Pierre Trudeau’s entire legacy, multiple graduate degrees, never worked in the public sector. I check all of the Trudeau-hate boxes).

I am embarrassed to be a citizen of a country where someone like late is considered by anyone to be leadership material.

  7. Martin Dixon says:

No sign of Justin in the House today. Schedule says private meetings.

    • Martin,

Yup. They’re planning to cut and paste that lame excuse all the way to the end of their term. This guy is no match for Pierre and he bloody well knows it. Even our most inept MP could still wipe the floor with this guy.

    • Doug says:

Must be surfing, except the highway to Tofino is closed. Some celebrity friend must have flown him in.

  8. Curious V says:

In today’s political climate, people don’t expect perfection. Often times, as is the case with Trump, they’re seen as a regular person when reviewing their faults – nobody’s perfect, but hopefully they have a heart.

As much as we talk about Justin’s qualifications, that’s not the underlying quality everybody looks for. A big portion of the population just wats somebody with a conscience, who has a heart – who cares for vulnerable people, marginalized groups, and communities that have experienced historic discrimination. More than having a PHD, they expect somebody to represent folks beyond the privileged, young and the healthy. They don’t necessarily want the smartest, as much as they want the kindest.

    • Martin Dixon says:

You don’t seriously think a narcissist like Justin has a heart, do you? That’s actually quite funny.

      • Doug says:

The recycled Obama persona grafted onto him has empathy and is particularly skilled at emoting it. The feature is described by point 2 in section 11b of the marketing brief

    • Curious V,

Well, he’s certainly been the kindest to all those family and friends Liberals indirectly or directly lining up at the trough. And they too have passed it on to their relatives. The big Trudeau Liberal Pork Pigout. No problem at all. How terribly kind of him. That’s the kind of guy he is.
