The IDU spends too much time sleeping while awake. Of course, the presumption of innocence must always remain paramount, but geez Louise, they should have separated from this guy as soon as his ties to Trump became publicly known. Sloppy and lazy research operatives. Imagine that. Hope our researchers in the CPC are not like that bunch of losers.

It’s not a good look, but that was one thing about Harper – he had a certain attraction to right-wing figures, techniques and institutions in the US. He admired in certain cases their organizations, their organizational chops and their assertiveness and pugnacity.
It’s part of the reason why Harper liked things like micro-targeting and had contempt for big-tent politics. Because that’s where the right in the US was headed under the likes of Karl Rove etc

I imagine they gave better strategic “advice” than Howard’s guy. And maybe not. LOL.
Harper sure doesn’t look too bad in hindsight given the shitshow we have had ever since. The fact we were going to get said shitshow should have been patently obvious to all the red Tories and Coynes of the world that couldn’t see it but I sure could.
