Joly = joke

This damned fool wants to elevate Hamas, a listed terrorist entity, to the “negotiating table.”

What a farce we have become internationally. It’s just pathetic.

  1. Warren,

    Those two…what a perfect intellectual match. We’re definitely not talking Arafat renouncing terrorism.

  2. Peter Williams says:

    With the tight control Mr Trudeau’s PMO exercises over the cabinet ministers, I doubt Joly’s comments were delivered without Trudeau’s knowledge.

    So I ask Team Trudeau, “Why do you want to help Hamas in their quest to repeat October 7 quote “a million times”.

    • Douglas W says:

      Team Trudeau regrets that it can’t be more openly supportive of Hamas.

      In other news:

      1. Soraya Martinez Ferrada and Terry Duguid will serve as Co-Chairs of the Liberal’s National Campaign Committee. (They can’t be serious about going to the polls?)
      2. Ottawa MP Mona Fortier denies rumours of imminent resignation, replaced by Mark Carney.

    When Gudie made those moronic comments, I figured we wouldn’t have to wait long for something even more moronic from this bunch and here we have it. Sadly, we likely only have to wait a few more days for something to top this..

  4. Montrealaise says:

    Mélanie Joly has always been a damned fool. Warren, I remember in your previous columns (maybe two years ago) you openly wondered why Trudeau kept giving her Cabinet positions when she clearly was not qualified for them. This is the result.

    • Montréalaise,

      Well, if she is a damned fool, I for one must be at least an oaf for putting on my blinders quite deliberately and supporting a Liberal party leader who was in the eyes of any sentient individual already seen as absolutely and thoroughly unqualified for the office he won, namely, the Liberal leadership. Such was my blind spot when it came to Harper that I quite willingly looked away. It’s small consolation as to my capacity for sound judgment that I supported Garneau instead.

  5. Martin Dixon says:

    Pretty sure he knows why. Can’t blame Justin, truth be told.
