The hidden hand
There are two wars. The Oct. 7 Israel-Hamas war, which Israel will win. Hamas will be crippled for years to come.
The other war started Oct. 8. It is the global propaganda war that seeks to delegitimize and isolate Israel and destabilize the West.
We are losing that war.
Netanyahu is entirely responsible for both prolonging and losing that war. Joe Biden and Yair Lapid have laid out, rather exceptionally, a means to save many lives and stop the bleeding of global support. Bibi won’t take it, because it means he will eventually have to face accountability for being, to paraphrase US Rep. Jerry Nadler, the worst leader of the Jewish people in 2000 years. This man will take millions down with him rather than accept responsibility for his crimes.
There’s no need for a complex network of clandestine support to delegitimize Israel when it’s own Prime Minister is doing most of the heavy lifting himself.
