Color me depressed
Trump mimics giving a blowjob at a Republican rally. Earlier, he made a death threat against a woman who is voting against him.
What’s mystifying isn’t that there are sick, bigoted, fucked-up people like Donald Trump.
What’s mystifying is that anyone could ever vote for that.
I’m mystified that folks will still vote for Justin Trudeau.
And, so I understand your mystification.
There is literally no difference.
It isn’t that they are voting for that. Its that they imagine him as being against the system because of those antics. There are a lot of very low education folks around / below the poverty line who just want to fight the system and they see him as a vehicle for that. These same people see Harris as part of the system. They are fed up with being polite and following the rules, because it isn’t getting them anywhere. I think Trumps popularity is more about the alienation of the lower middle class than it is anything else.
Above the poverty line educated person sticking his hand up here. I deal with the “system” regularly(right now actually). The “system” is overrated and there are lots of folks like me out there who think that way. The “system” needs a major purge.
