Trump is such an idiot.
1. He’s united Canadians like nothing else has in decades.
2. He’s single-handedly revitalized the Liberal Party, which he hated.
3. He’s fast-tracked trade between Canada and other nations, so we’ll be less interested in selling to him.

Biden had four years to join the CPTPP again and he did dick. So, now that Trump is back in office, we should expand CPTPP and allow China to join. Now, THAT would be free-trade diversification.

If I were Trump I’d want the Liberals in power. Continuing poor management and a high potential for corruption would make Canada ripe for take over. Having said that, I don’t think it really matters. The Conservatives, NDP, etc. will be just as bad.
