The Vancouver Sun and Province have now turned over to the police never-before-seen shots of the Stanley Cup riot. Click on the photo to see more. It’s shocking stuff, still.

Wait till they get to court. No doubt the hug-a-thug crowd will be out in full force defending them. . I blame the parents, teachers and a society which basically does not allow childrent to be disciplined in any way, shape or form and has raised them with a feeling of entitlement.
This is the result. They’ll get a slap on the wrist and be sent on their way.
Yes because Canada has been plagued for years of entitled children rampaging the streets and our cities causing fear and terror amongst its law abiding citizens that should be allowed to just hit them if they want to.
Cripes, dude did you think before you wrote that?
Please identify the hug a thug people you refer to. Name names.
Geez JH, you blame everyone but the actual rioters. If I was conservative I’d say you sound like a lefty.
I don’t understand why it’s so hard to arrest them. Half of them have their names on the back of their shirts. Luongo, D and H Sedin, Kessler and Burrows should all be arrested before the next Canucks home game. Problem solved. You’re welcome, people of Vancouver.
Nice one. I’m waiting for one of the rioters to try that as a legal defence. “It wasn’t me, it was Sedin! Look at the name on the back of the sweater, for Crissakes!”
The eeriest shot, in my view, is the one with the burned-out police car in the foreground, and the big “Made in Canada” sign in the background.
Why every major European city, and many American ones, have water cannon at the ready…..I wouldnt have hesitated to use them on these hooligans…..on law and order Im a little to the right of Attilla the Hun, sorry…….
