With all due respect WK, I don’t think he’ll care.

  2. Jon Powers says:

Is it about zombies? If yes, I can add it to my library in my zombie panic room.

    • Warren says:

That’s the next one. I am writing it in a hermetically-sealed room with 24-inch thick concrete walls, surrounded by electric fencing and heavily armed Navy SEALS.

  3. Lala says:

You have no idea how much this pleases me. And Jane’s Addiction tonight, too!

  4. Lance says:

What no CANSOFCOM personnel willing to stand to? 😉

  5. Brad Young says:

Maybe you can beat Steve to the store shelf with his hockey book.

  6. kre8tv says:

Grats on the book. I’m looking forward to reading it (hope your publisher makes it available in ebook format).

  7. Neil says:

So when would the publication date be? I am very curious in how long the process is from you finishing to publication?

  8. Neil says:

And now that a Liberal staffer has been fired for the vikileaks thing, anyone, including me, who questioned Warren about Toews deserving this will be shown how right Warren was. The libs will have lost any moral high ground and the cons will be able to swing back on the robocalling issue by using this this. It could even blunt the momentum on the robocalling thing….

    • Warren says:

It’s a disgrace. And whoever it was sure sucked me in (and others too). I looked at their “follow” list and thought it had to be a Dipper. My apologies, Dippers of the world.

    • kenzo's says:

I believe that you are correct in your first statement and I hope you are incorrect in your second. This may briefly interrupt the story, but I wouldn’t underestimate its legs.

    • Kevin T. says:

Hmmmm… electoral fraud vs some d-bag using private citizens to sucker punch a politician (vile as he may be), I wonder how the party leadership will respond.

  9. Warren says:

Way to rain on my parade, Tulk!

  10. kenzo's says:

I resent you talking about my favourite literature like that, you unromantic bastard!

  11. Jason King says:

“Quantity does not equal quality unless you are writing harlequin romance novels.”

Does that mean we can expect fewer comments from you with arguments actually worth reading?

  12. Geoffrey Laxton says:

Patience Brothers and Sisters, I doubt Elections Canada and the RCMP will now wrap up their investigation of this voter suppression campaign just because some idiot Liberal staffer fired a blank BANG and got gun powder all over his face.

Considering that the robo calls that were allegedly orchestrated by Michael Sona were only made to Liberal supporters, whoever created the phone list must have had access to CIMS. According to the CIMS Electoral District Association Agreement

“THIS SYSTEM AND THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN IT ARE CONFIDENTIAL AND WILL ONLY BE USED FOR THE PURPOSES RELATED TO COMMUNICATION WITH VOTERS GENERALLY, OR THE
CONDUCT OF A FEDERAL ELECTION OR BY-ELECTION. ACCESS TO ANY INFORMATION SAVED IN CIMS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED TO ANYONE OTHER THAN DESIGNATED USERS, OR EMPLOYEES OF
    CONSERVATIVE FUND CANADA.”

Given the sensitivity of the information contained in this system, issues of access will be solely determined by
the Executive Director. Decisions of the Executive Director with respect to access, upgrade, and systems
    management are final.

The calls made from the Thunder Bay call centre were scripted to have them impersonate Elections Canada personnel.

    • Philip says:

Senator Duffy is now claiming that it might be the work of an unspecified “third party”. I’m not sure if he is referring to Moon Men or the Illuminati. Perhaps the Mayans?
I see the Conservative Party is bringing out all of their heavy hitters on this file.

  13. Brian says:

Without more of a teaser, this is just a pre-teaser.

I can’t pre-commit to buying the book without a full teaser. Sorry.

  14. que sera sera says:

Congratulations!! I look forward to reading it.

  15. Mike says:

    Where do I preorder?

  16. Terry says:

thot I had recently read that there is some sort of publisher’s bidding war for the Harper Hockey Book. Any truth to this?

  17. Niall says:

    Hi Warren,

You know, after your ethically correct calls on several recent political news ‘stories’ of the day, I’m perplexed by your motivated obsession with PM Steven Harper’s soon to be released (TM) book.
Give it a rest. In your situation as a published author, I think you surely know better than most about the difficulties of pen>paper.

When PMSH finally reveals his hockey monograph, I will donate a copy to a charity of your choice.

    Niall from Winnipeg

  18. Susan says:

Congratulations Warren. I think its quite an accomplishment, not that its your first. Your dad would be very proud, you are a smart and talented writer. I cannot wait to read it.
