Good riddance

Too bad the French weren’t called in to apprehend the far-Right’s hero, Anders Breivik, as well.

The murderer of Trayvon Martin, too. The Right will shortly be singing paeans to that Nazi as well, just watch.

Little Green Apples is already all over the right wing response to the Martin murder. It’s beyond ugly.

Suicide by Cop versus Capital Punishment by the State. One is cheered, the other jeered? Let’s wish McClintic, and beau, well with their future jailhouse University degrees and release?

When I first heard about this, I did not link it to Mcveigh or Breivik, but rather to the slaying of innocents in Afghanistan a few days ago. One of the things I notice in all of these is the arguments as to whether the perpetrator is a lone gunman, or part of a larger organization. What has crossed my mind is the question: ‘How are people in Afghanistan viewing these events and, if they have access, what do they think of the way that the West is interpeting these events?

The author of the “Stand Your Ground” law says that the law as written does not protect Zimmerman (the shooter of Trayvon Martin) because he chased after him. This was clearly recorded in the 911 call to the police.
