You’ll live to see another election! Next time federal, though.

Bruno Gianelli had a point. Still valid. Keep on keeping on.

This stuff is way above my simple skillz to fully comprehend, but I think Mr J is giving far too much credit to labour unions and “social justice warriors”. It never ceases to amaze me how otherwise sensible folks can go so completely sideways after a defeat.

Reading that blog, I note that the amount of “woe is me” victimhood that CPC supporters put on, despite having been in power since 2006 is pretty amazing. If things have gotten worse for the average Canadian lately, you can’t blame the Liberals or the sponsorship scandal. There are more current scandals to be concerned with, especially the ones where it looks like there was electoral interference. Taking responsibility for mistakes and providing actual solutions would be far more convincing for the average Canadian, who is not tied to any political party, than trying to have them fear Justin Trudeau and his pot policies. It smacks of insecurity and I would rather a government work on improving the lives of all Canadians, than seeing constant attack ads about a leader with the third highest amount of seats in Parliament, years before an actual election.

The angry white man vote only gets you so far, as Hudak learned, and I would have thought the CPC would have picked up on that. But then again I wonder just how much was lost when Nigel Wright resigned, because the tone deaf responses since his departure seem to never end, with the dismissive response to call for an inquiry regarding the missing native women while worrying about the 1845 Franklin expedition being just the latest. Too bad Malcolm Tucker is on the TARDIS because they need him, or someone like him, stat.

Wow. You read way too much in to that piece.
It’s a darn good piece of writing and comes right up through the middle IMO.
