It is an election year and, accordingly, folks are already asking me about banner advertising on this here web site.

Last time, the Libs got to it first. This time, who knows? First come, first served.

Marijuana Party of Canada, this could be your lucky day!

I’m curious, is 17,600 a lot of jobs to lose in the grand scheme of the economy? I think this puts another tick in the “Harper calls an election early” column.

Surely yo aren’t holding the Conservatives responsible for Target’s withdrawal from Canada.

Target was arrogant. There business plan was a disaster from day one. They didn’t understand the Canadian market. And not only did they not do anything to temper Canadian consumers expectations about pricing, they actually fed consumers expectations.

      • Matt says:

Sorry, should be their, not there.

      • Al in Cranbrook says:

C’mon, Matt! You know Harper’s responsible for everything! The 2008 US market crash, plummeting oil prices, radical terrorism in Canada, global warming…especially global warming!!!…the common cold, ingrown toenails, you name it, eh?

      • Derek Pearce says:

No, I’m not blaming the govt at all. Target fucked up royally all on it’s own. But a general trend of crappy job numbers can’t be good for the governing party. Wages are stagnant and people are noticing. Canadians have maintained their lifestyles in the face of wage stagnation by going further into debt, and they’re starting to sweat. For that the government could be electorally held responsible. I’m not saying it’s rational, but it is what it is.

    Even the Conservative Party?

Get yourself a slice of the Action Plan ads pie. Money for nothing, as that’s what the ads amount to, nothing.
