Early 80s: That’s right around the first time I ever came across a reference to you. I was reading some article in the U of Calgary Gauntlet newspaper, and you were identified as a local punk rocker. I think you were PO’d about something. I have no idea why I remember that (though perhaps because my friends were in a really bad band that got a gig at the Calgarian when it was a classic dive bar). Next time I heard your name, you’re a political celebrity.
