Some days, I think it’d be better if a great big meteorite hit the planet and wiped us all out

Back in my hippie sheep farming days on Saltspring Is., I saw lots of ewes eating their placenta – not sure what that says about Kim Kardashian though (except maybe yuk)

Don’t broadcast it too loud. It may give Trudeau ideas of what it takes to get on the cover of Vogue, rather than just an inside story.

    • Ted H says:

That’s quite a stretch. Whatever your political stripe, Justin Trudeau obviously had the political smarts to defeat that wily tactician Stephen Harper at his own game and become the Prime Minister of Canada with a majority government. That is no small feat and something not many people have the capability of doing and he deserves all of the accolades, prestige and authority he has earned. Kim Kardashian on the other hand hasn’t done a single f***ing thing to deserve her fame. She is the daughter of one of OJ Simpson’s lawyers, she is reasonably attractive when made up but other than that she has done nothing compared to the average university graduate, let alone compared to Justin Trudeau.

Holy fuck, you’re funny. Amazing sense of humour for a 10 year old.

It appears I have hit a soft spot, and both Ted H and the smelter rat have realized that there are more than a few similarities between Kim and our prime minister They have decided to shoot the messenger, rather than embrace what they know it accurate.

      • smelter rat says:

Boom! You did it again! Brilliant!

      • Ted H says:

Actually Peter you seem to have interpreted what I said quite wrongly. I was pointing out that whatever you think of PM Trudeau he has achieved a major accomplishment, Kim on the other hand has accomplished nothing at all, there is no comparison between the two.

    Warren,

JFK saved us all. But was it really worth it? I think so.

Back in the late 70’s I was acquainted with a group of people living in an urban hippy-like commune who practiced an ancient Norse lifestyle. That required assuming Nordic names, clothing, customs, belief/deity system and the quaint habit of eating the placenta of any babies born to any of the women living with them. They barbecued them apparently and claimed they actually tasted good. BARF. Maybe KK could whip up a Viking feast for her family.. placenta stuffed cabbage rolls with Norwegian dumplings.

Placenta eating? That’s so last year.

This is how the zombie apocalypse will start.
